Overview Join a dynamic and collaborative surgical team at Piedmont Walton, where we perform over 4,000 procedures annually across four fully equipped operating rooms. As a Level III Trauma Center and ANCC Pathway to Excellence designated facility since 2022, we are committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care 24/7/365—including urgent and emergent add-on cases. Our cross-trained surgical staff supports a broad range of services including orthopedics, general surgery, ophthalmology, ENT, robotic-assisted procedures, bariatrics, gynecology, podiatry, and endoscopy. The OR team is composed of RNs, surgical technologists, CSFAs, and procedure support technicians, with staffing aligned to AORN standards to ensure high-quality, safe, and efficient care. Responsibilities Performs necessary duties in scrub role. Takes on greater responsibility in providing patient care demonstrating a higher level critical thinking and problem solving skills. Functions in partnership with licensed staff. Performs patient care duties for clients of various age groups under the direction of a registered nurse. Qualifications Education H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required and Graduate of a Surgical Technology program Required Work Experience Certification as a Surgical Technologist Required or 3 years of surgical tech experience Required Licenses and Certifications BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required CST -
