Full Job Description Work Shift:
Day - 8 Hour (United States of America)Under the general supervision of a registered nurse, provides nursing care and completes tasks delegated for all categories of patients served. Utilizes patient's individualized plan of care in providing care and collecting data relating to patients needs and response. Provides care in accordance with Houston Healthcare's Plan for the Provision of Nursing Care, standards of care and standards of performance.
Education & Training:
Graduate of a surgical tech program.
Experience:
None Required Certification/Registration/Licensure:
Current
AHA/ARC BLS
certification. Current Surgical Technical (CST) certification. Must obtain and maintain required ortho education/training as mandated in the Houston Healthcare Joint Destination Center of Excellence Policy.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Must be able to utilize surgical instruments, supplies and necessary equipment during surgical procedures. Ability to anticipate the needs of the surgeon and has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure safe, quality patient care during the operative procedure.
