Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Surgical Technician, where you will play a vital role in supporting surgical teams during procedures. Your expertise will ensure that operating rooms are prepared, sterile, and ready for efficient surgeries. You will assist surgeons and nurses by managing surgical instruments, maintaining aseptic techniques, and providing critical support to deliver exceptional patient care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in an environment dedicated to improving patient outcomes through precise and compassionate care. Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing and arranging surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment in accordance with infection control standards. Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, suturing wounds, and managing surgical tools with precision. Monitor patient vital signs and physiological responses throughout surgeries, ensuring safety and stability at all times Support patient care activities including positioning patients, applying dressings, and ensuring comfort before, during, and after surgery. Adhere strictly to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to prevent contamination and ensure patient safety. Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to effectively anticipate surgical needs and respond promptly. Experience Prior experience working in hospital environments such as medical-surgical units, ICU, PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), or trauma centers is highly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with OR procedures, suturing techniques, and sterile field management. Experience in emergency medicine or Level I/II trauma centers that involve acute care scenarios. Proven ability to perform data collection related to patient vitals and procedural outcomes with strong analysis skills.
