1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a 13-week travel contract in a hospital OR setting, requiring at least 2 years of experience and proficiency across ortho, spine, urology, general, and GYN procedures. Details Hospital OR setting with 7 operating rooms Procedures include orthopedic, spine, urology, general, and GYN surgeries Advanced robotic technology in use, including DaVinci, MAKO, Globus, and Medtronic Stealth systems Equipment includes Stryker, Arthrex, and Olympus EMR system is Meditech Scheduling options include four 10-hour shifts or three 12-hour shifts; shift hours are 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM Rotating weekend on-call required May float between the main OR, 2nd floor OR (eyes), and/or endoscopy 1:1 patient ratio 13-week contract Requirements CST certification required Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist Active experience within the last 6 months in the CST role required BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) required; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start Experience with orthopedic, spine, urology, general, and GYN procedures required Robotic surgery experience preferred, particularly DaVinci and MAKO State license required if applicable US SSN and DOB required for consideration One professional reference required No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Scrubs are provided by the facility Unit is supported by RNs, CSTs, OR Aides, Anesthesia Techs, and Schedulers — described as a great team environment Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
