•$39.92 per hour, based on certification and experience Endeavor Health's new Cardiovascular Institute at Glenbrook Hospital (opened 2025) is hiring a Surgical Technologist for its Main OR

•six surgical suites, nine cardiology labs, and access to robotics, AI, and minimally invasive cardiac/vascular procedures including leadless pacemakers and transcatheter valve repair.

Responsibilities:

Serve as scrub person during surgical procedures Prepare and dispense instruments, equipment, and supplies Perform instrument, needle, sharps, and sponge counts; handle specimens Assist with dressings, casts, and patient transport Maintain OR and cart inventory

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED Graduate of a Surgical Technology program (in-person coursework plus clinical hours), or 3+ years of Surg Tech experience 1-2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist in a Main OR, acute care hospital Current CPR certification; Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) highly preferred Cardiovascular OR experience a plus Level I Trauma Center.
