Full Job Description Role Overview:

Provides surgical technology support for both direct and indirect patient care, assisting surgeons during operative and invasive procedures. Acts as a resource, trains new technologists and students, and functions as an informal lead when needed. Utilizes advanced knowledge to mentor peers, improve efficiency, and elevate performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepares instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgeon-specific procedures, ensuring readiness and proper setup. Performs scrubbing on a variety of procedures, adapting to surgeon preferences and handling routine and emergency cases confidently. Anticipates intraoperative needs, manages unexpected events, and provides appropriate interventions. Mentors staff and students, demonstrating critical thinking and intraoperative decision-making. Communicates effectively with team members, shares knowledge, and collaborates to ensure case success. Participates in on-call duties and maintains flexibility for scheduling needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days. Associate's degree or certification in Surgical Technology. Willingness to accept new graduates. Strong technical skills, adaptability, teamwork, and effective communication.
