CVOR CST
you will: Scrub for vascular and endovascular surgery and assist with open repairs and percutaneous approaches. Prepare surgical supplies and equipment for scheduled and emergency procedures Assist in prepping patients, including cleansing and draping surgical sites Work closely with surgeons and the surgical team during procedures Maintain accurate instrument and sharps counts Handle surgical specimens for lab processing Apply post-procedure dressings and/or casts as needed A few must-haves for CSTs in theCVOR:
Active CST license in the state of Indiana- facility will NOT accept TS-C or grandfather situations Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association 2+ years of recent CVOR surgical tech experience Must be able to scrub hearts and non-CVOR cases (ortho and general) Must be okay with being On-Call, as it is required Ability to stay calm under pressure and work both independently and as part of a team Proficiency in basic vital signs and medication administration Why join Interim HealthCare Staffing?
