Pre-Screening Question:

1.Can the candidate scrub liver recipient transplants independently? When was the last time you have scrubbed liver transplant and at which facility? 2. This is a weekend position, please confirm candidate is aware and comfortable Shift requirement: 3x12s 7a-7:30p

Weekends Call Requirement:

40-60 hours of call in a 6 week schedule

Required Certifications:

BCLS and NBSTSA Skillset Requirement:

Minimum 2 years experience, Transplant experience a MUST, Large Open Belly Cases, General, Urology, Thoracic, Gyn, Scrub, Aseptic Technique, Plastics, Whipple, Liver Resection, Liver Transplant, and Free Flap.

Consecutive Contract Policy:

Current or past IU travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment anywhere within IU Health are required to take a designated break to reset travel eligibility effective 2/24/26. This break must be taken in one consecutive period and cannot be split up under any circumstances. Please see AM for additional clarification if needed.
