Job Description

Adding a First Heart Scrub Tech to our team! Full-time position, Monday through Friday, with rotating Call Schedule. Must have heart scrub tech experience to be a part of the surgical team providing support to the surgeon and other providers in the operating room. Will share in heart call evenings/weekends. Must be a graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent; experience required . BLS required. Certified Surgical Technologist issued by The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting preferred. One year of experience as a First Heart Scrub Tech required. Kansas Medical Center (KMC) offers services in a wide array of specialties for both inpatient and outpatient.
The main campus has:
Six operating rooms Two procedure rooms Two Cath Labs Intermediate Care Unit for pre-op and post-op patients Three inpatient nursing units and Emergency Department Outpatient services including X-ray, CT, MRI, PET, PT, Lab, and Cardiac Rehab
