Travel / Contract Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist (CST/ST) for a 13-week contract assignment in a busy Operating Room environment in Kansas City, Kansas . The ideal candidate will have strong OR experience, with particular emphasis on orthopedic cases and Level I trauma experience. The position provides an opportunity to work across multiple surgical specialties and ORs. Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures. Assist the surgical team during procedures while maintaining a sterile field. Anticipate the needs of surgeons and other members of the surgical team. Ensure surgical instruments and supplies are available and properly prepared. Assist with surgical counts according to established procedures. Maintain sterile technique and follow infection prevention and patient safety standards. Clean, organize, and restock operating rooms between procedures. Support a variety of surgical cases across multiple specialties. Float to different ORs as needed. Participate in on-call coverage as required. Surgical Experience Strong experience with orthopedic surgery is required. Experience with the following is preferred: General surgery Trauma Gynecology Urology Plastics Da Vinci robotic cases Large head and neck cases Neuro spine Exploratory laparotomy (ex lap) cases Requirements 1 year of experience as a

CST OR 3

years of experience as a Surgical Technologist (ST). Level I trauma experience required. Strong orthopedic experience preferred. AHA BLS certification required.

NBSTSA CST

certification required , or 3 years of Surgical Technologist experience may be accepted in lieu of the certification/degree requirement. Previous travel experience preferred.
