None Position Overview We are seeking experienced Surgical Technologists to join a fast-paced, team-oriented surgical hospital in Kansas. This is an excellent opportunity for a versatile Surgical Technologist with strong orthopedic experience who is comfortable working across multiple surgical specialties. The facility performs approximately 20 surgeries per day, with a strong focus on total joint replacements and sports medicine. The surgical team also performs adult and pediatric procedures across a wide range of specialties. Schedule & Hours Multiple schedule options are available: 8-hour shifts: 6:30 AM-3:00 PM 10-hour shifts: 6:30 AM-4:30 PM 12-hour shifts: 6:00 AM-6:00 PM Available positions ranging from 28-40 hours per week Monday-Friday schedule No weekend rotation No required holiday shifts Seven paid holidays available for full- and part-time staff No on-call requirement After-hours return-to-work opportunities may be available on a voluntary basis if an urgent need arises Staff may be asked to arrive as early as 6:00 AM when the first case is scheduled for 7:15 AM or for a 7:30 AM total joint procedure. Required Qualifications & Experience Current BLS certification through AHA or ARC Orthopedic surgical experience required Strong experience with total joint replacement and sports medicine procedures Proficiency with Zimmer and Arthrex instrumentation and equipment Must be comfortable working across multiple surgical specialties NBSTSA or NCCT certification preferred Surgical Specialties Candidates must be able to work effectively across a broad range of specialties, including: Orthopedics ENT GYN Spine Urology Cataracts General Surgery The ideal candidate is flexible, adaptable, and able to transition between specialties throughout the day. Responsibilities Surgical Technologists will be responsible for supporting surgical procedures and maintaining an efficient operating room environment.Duties may include:
Pulling and preparing cases Setting up operating rooms for procedures Assisting surgical teams throughout procedures Terminally cleaning rooms Maintaining appropriate instrumentation and equipment Supporting multiple surgical specialties Assisting with SPD duties, including putting away instruments, when needed Helping with breaks and lunches as part of the surgical team There is no dedicated turnover crew or EVS staff in the OR area, so Surgical Technologists are expected to actively participate in room turnover and preparation. Department Overview 6-suite operating room Monday-Friday operations Approximately 20 surgeries per day Fast-paced, efficient environment Strong orthopedic focus Mix of adult and pediatric cases RN and Surgical Technologist typically assigned to each OR suite Additional Surgical Technologist support provided for cases requiring a second tech 1-2 float staff may be available for breaks and lunchesAdditional Information Pay:
