Surgical Technician Kansas Orthopaedic Center, P.A. - 4.0 Wichita, KS Job Details Full-time 9 hours ago Qualifications Surgical Technology Full Job Description Surgical Technician needed for our ambulatory surgery center for orthopaedic procedures. Typical schedule is 32-40 hours per week (full-time with benefits), usually 7:00am to 5:30pm, Monday - Thursday with occasional earlier starts. No weekends, no holidays and no call!
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs key functions during surgical procedures as assigned. Maintains availability for room turnover and set up of surgical cases. Maintains compliance with OSHA standards for healthcare facilities. Participate in educational opportunities for professional growth and development. Contributes to a positive work climate and the overall team effort of the center. Punctual attendance at department staff meetings, facility inservices and scheduled shifts. Personally adhere to the standards, rules, and procedures of the KOC Compliance and HIPAA Programs and contribute to ensuring the organizational commitment to compliance and HIPAA regulations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of accredited school of Surgical Technology Surgical Technology certification or eligibility to sit for exam 1 year experience preferred, previous orthopaedic experience helpful - open to new and recent graduates as well! Excellent communication skills
