Job Duties:

Common Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrepare operating rooms for surgery by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile suppliesMaintain a sterile field throughout surgical proceduresScrub in and assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments, sutures, and suppliesCount sponges, needles, and instruments before and after procedures to ensure accuracyPrepare and position patients for surgeryAssist with draping patients and preparing surgical sitesOperate sterilization equipment and ensure proper handling of instrumentsAnticipate the needs of the surgeon and surgical team during proceduresHandle specimens according to facility policyClean and restock operating rooms after proceduresEnsure all surgical equipment is functioning properlyFollow infection control, safety, and hospital policies and proceduresDocument surgical case information as required

Requirements:

Technical Diploma from a Surgical Technologist accredited program.

Certified Surgical Tech (CST) certification is requiredDriver's LicenseEligibility for
