40 Hours/Week We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) / Scrub Tech for a 13-week assignment in Bangor, Maine . The ideal candidate must be proficient in total joint, sports medicine, general surgery, and orthopedic spine procedures and have strong sterile technique and operating-room skills. Mandatory Requirements to Apply Minimum 1 year of recent Surgical Tech/Scrub Tech experience NBSTSA Certification - Required BLS Certification - Required Active required state credentials Surgical Technology certificate/diploma from an accredited program Epic EMR experience Strong experience with: Total Joint, Sports Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopedic Spine Roles & Responsibilities Prepare the OR, equipment, instruments, and supplies for surgical procedures. Scrub, gown, and glove surgical team members while maintaining a sterile field. Perform required surgical counts with the circulator before and during procedures. Anticipate the surgeon's needs and pass instruments efficiently during surgery. Clean and prepare instruments and the surgical suite for sterilization and the next procedure.
