Operating Room Technician

Category Nursing - ORT Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal healthcare support role, working alongside skilled surgical teams to deliver outstanding patient care. This position focuses on the preparation and handling of surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary for a range of general surgical procedures. You will function under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and collaborate closely with surgical staff to anticipate needs and maintain a safe, efficient operating environment.

Schedule:

3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 am-7:30 pm) On-call once per week and every sixth weekend 13-week contract with possibility of extension

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential (required) Minimum of 1 year experience as a Surgical Technologist BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) Previous travel assignment experience preferred High School diploma or GED equivalent
