Operating Room Technician in Grass Lake, MI

You will work under the guidance of the Registered Nurse and the surgical team, providing vital support in the operating room and ensuring surgical procedures run smoothly. Your expertise will make a real difference in patient care and operating room efficiency.

Schedule & Hours:

3x12-hour shifts: 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.

On-call:

Once per week & every 6th weekend

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of recent Surgical Technologist (ST) experience Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required BLS certification through AHA Previous travel experience as a surgical tech High school diploma or GED equivalent

Key Responsibilities:

Handle surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies during general surgical procedures Ensure understanding of the particular procedure being performed and anticipate the surgical team's needs Provide patient preparation and safe patient transport within the facility Assist the surgical care team with patient care tasks, emphasizing safety and comfort Maintain a sterile environment; respond swiftly to emergent situations according to established protocols Support building services relating to surgical operations
