Job Description

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is seeking a OR Technician to join our team in the Operating Room at the main hospital in Bolivar, Missouri — someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.
Position Details Status:
Full-Time, Non-Exempt Work Shift:
Days Hours:
72 hours every 2 weeks, 7am-5:30pm
What Your Day Looks Like:
The OR consists of 23 active surgeons who perform an average of 372 surgeries/month. The OR has 6 outpatient, 3 inpatient, and 1 C-section designated suites that run 4 teams of staff each day. The surgeons work to educate, train, and develop staff to operate fluidly together. As an OR Technician, you will be: Maintaining a safe and clean patient care environment Assisting with supplies and needs of the department, perioperative care of the patient Preparing the operating room and equipment Providing support to physicians and nurses while the procedure is underway Handling specimens collected
Qualifications Education:
High school diploma required
Skills:
Patient care
Licensure/Certification:
BLS within 6 months of hire
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift, pull, or transfer up to 50 lbs.
