1 Description American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital OR night shift position requiring at least 2 years of specialty experience and NBSTSA certification. Details Hospital-based General OR, Ambulatory OR, and Trauma setting 13-week assignment on night shift, working 3x12-hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00 No block schedule offered for this position Case types may include vascular, gynecology, plastics, neurosurgery, podiatry, general surgery, orthopedic, ophthalmology, urology, robotics, ENT, cardiovascular, bariatric, and thoracic procedures Utilizes the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System for robotic-assisted cases No floating to other hospitals or affiliate facilities unless otherwise agreed upon during interview or offer Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical technology specialty role BLS certification required NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist credential required License required if applicable Trauma Level I hospital experience preferred Cerner charting system experience preferred Skilled in aseptic technique and instrument processing Ability to work night shift hours consistently Additional Information Support surgical procedures across multiple specialties including vascular, orthopedic, neurosurgery, general surgery, gynecology, urology, ENT, plastics, and thoracic surgery Assist with robotic-assisted procedures using the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System Maintain sterile fields and prepare instruments, supplies, and equipment for a variety of surgical cases Handle case cart preparation and care of scopes and fiber optic equipment References required for consideration Available start date and RTO must be provided at time of consideration Candidates must reside within a 75-mile radius or accept without local rate consideration, as local rates are not accepted Background checks with license or background hits reviewed on a case-by-case basis Former permanent employees must have a 2-year break in service before eligibility Completion of pre-start clinical modules required prior to assignment start, which vary based on specialty
