Job Summary Seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment. The Surgical Technologist will provide technical support in the Operating Room and assist with patient care and safety during surgical procedures under the guidance of the RN. Responsibilities Prepare the operating room and equipment for surgical procedures. Maintain proper aseptic technique and a sterile field. Provide technical scrub support during surgical procedures. Assist physicians with instrumentation and surgical equipment. Coordinate patient care with the RN Circulator. Handle and properly manage surgical specimens. Clean, disinfect, wrap, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment. Prepare rooms and equipment for Endoscopy procedures. Stock and replace Central Sterile (CS) supplies and maintain inventory. Transport patients to and from the OR. Monitor surgical equipment and report maintenance or repair needs. Follow physician orders within the operating suite. Complete required documentation and unusual occurrence reports. Perform CPR as needed. Maintain knowledge and proficiency with applicable surgical instruments and equipment. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum 5 years of Surgical Technologist experience. Current active state license as required.

required. Experience working in an Operating Room. Must be comfortable with rotating call . Holiday coverage required. Must be able to work 8-hour day shifts. In-state travelers will not be accepted unless they live more than 250 miles from the facility.

Pay:

$1,350.00 - $1,401.00 per week
