Job Description
Description The primary duties of the Surgical Technician include: setting up and maintaining a sterile field, assists surgeon as necessary, assists circulating nurse and other members of the surgical team, maintains familiarity, function and proper care of all OR equipment and instruments. The Surgical Technician initiates responsibility for care of specimens and performs other related duties as assigned Providence caregivers are not simply valued

Required Qualifications:
Coursework/Training- graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech Program. National Certified Surgical Technologist
- National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting upon hire. National Provider BLS
- American Heart Association upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
