Category Imaging - Special Procedures Job Type Travel Discover the charm of Burlington, NC! This travel position is ideal for a skilled, experienced Surgical Technologist or an Imaging - Special Procedures professional. You'll work side-by-side with accomplished surgical teams, gaining insight into varied best practices and leadership techniques in fast-paced surgical environments. Expand your clinical expertise tackling a core caseload of orthopedic and general procedures, and bring your knowledge to a facility invested in continuous improvement.
Schedule/Hours:
Weekend coverage including either Monday or Friday, 7a-7p Weekday shifts are flexible (8, 10, or 12 hours), finalized during interview
Key Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of recent experience in surgical environments (training not provided) Certified Surgical Technologist preferred; non-certified candidates with strong skills welcome Proven expertise in special procedures imaging a plus Adaptable to varying schedules and caseloads Strong communication and intra-team collaboration
Role Responsibilities:
Prepare operating rooms and equipment for diverse procedures, primarily orthopedics and general surgery Scrub in and assist surgical teams during operative cases Anticipate the needs of the surgical team with precision and professionalism Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and facility protocols Support the use and setup of imaging equipment during special procedures
