Where You'll Work CHI Health St. Elizabeth, founded by the Sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration in 1889, is a full-service, 260-bed, nonprofit regional medical center in Lincoln, Neb. St. Elizabeth specializes in the treatment areas of newborn and pediatric care, women's health, burn and wound, cardiology, oncology, emergency medicine, orthopedics and neuroscience. Job Summary and Responsibilities As an Intern, you will provide essential support and contribute fresh perspectives to our team, gaining invaluable hands-on experience and professional development within your chosen field.

With minimal assistance, plans for and prepares necessary instruments, supplies and equipment required for surgical procedures. Demonstrates knowledge and technical skill in the care and use of instruments, supplies and equipment used to assist the physician in performing most surgical procedures. Assists in circulating duties with a registered nurse. Responsible for surgical technician duties under the direct supervision of the certified surgical technician or registered nurse. May first scrub minor cases, second scrub major cases, or first scrub major cases with certified surgical technician direct supervision. This position will never scrub alone. Assists with prepping patient for procedure as directed. Assists in positioning and draping the patient. Job Requirements Required High School Graduate General Studies, upon hire or High School GED General Studies, upon hire or Other Complete second quarter as a student in an accredited Surgical Technology program, upon hire or Other first semester of accredited registered nursing program., upon hire Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
