Responsibilities include:
Collaborating with perioperative nurses to organize and deliver age-specific patient care. Maintaining a safe environment to support optimal patient outcomes during surgery. Ensuring patients' physiologic responses to surgery are as expected in the surgical suite and across the perioperative division.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent and completion of a Surgical Technician training program. 2-3 years of experience with strong knowledge in scrubbing for various service lines including robotics, vascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, plastic, and trauma cases. Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, flexibility, multitasking, and ability to work independently. Certification as a Surgical Technician (NBSTSA) and current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification from the American Heart Association are required.
Key Duties:
Performing scrub duties across diverse surgical specialties. Supporting safe and efficient surgical procedures. Communicating effectively with team members and patients.
