1 Description American Traveler seeks a CVOR Surgical Technologist with open heart, vascular, and thoracic experience for a hospital position on a 4x10 day shift schedule. Details Hospital CVOR unit performing open heart, vascular, and thoracic surgical procedures Cardiovascular cases include CABG, TAVR, VAD, mitral valve replacement, and aortic aneurysm repair Vascular cases include carotid endarterectomy, femoral popliteal bypass, and endovascular aneurysm repair Additional procedures may include robotics, thoracic (VATS, lung resection), and general surgery cases Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM Call requirements include one overnight shift during the week and every third full weekend May float to the Ridgewood Observation Unit as needed Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist required Open heart, vascular, and thoracic surgical experience required NBSTSA certification required BLS certification required License required if applicable Proficiency in aseptic technique, sterilization/disinfection, and universal protocol (time out) procedures Proof of completed
