Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Surgical Technologist to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in assisting with a wide range of surgical procedures, demonstrating expertise in sterile techniques, medical equipment operation, and patient care. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in supporting surgeons during operations, maintaining sterile environments, and ensuring the safety and comfort of our patients throughout their surgical journey. Duties Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing instruments, arranging supplies, and ensuring all surgical equipment is ready for use. Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, suturing wounds, and managing surgical tools efficiently. Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to prevent healthcare-associated infections. Monitor vital signs and patient physiology during surgeries, providing critical support to ensure patient stability. Assist with the setup and breakdown of surgical areas, including handling specialized equipment such as endoscopy or plasti surgery equipemnts/devices. Document surgical procedures accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems and maintain detailed medical records. Support post-operative care by managing wound dressings, ensuring proper sterilization of instruments, and assisting with patient recovery processes. Skills Extensive knowledge of surgical instruments, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to various specialties including plastic surgery and general surgery. Proven experience in Plastic surgery and or general surgery for minimum 2 years. Proficiency in operating medical equipment such as endoscopes, plastic surgery devices and sterilization tools. Strong understanding of aseptic techniques, infection prevention strategies, and healthcare infection control standards. Ability to perform data collection related to patient vitals, treatment outcomes, and procedural documentation with precision.
