1 Description American Traveler is seeking a First Assist CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist with vein harvesting experience for a cardiovascular OR position. Details CVOR unit with 3 beds and 15 staff members performing open heart surgeries Patient ratio of 1:1 for cardiovascular procedures Day shift Monday-Friday with on-call requirements for after hours and weekends Procedures include CABG, valve repairs, TAVR standby, laser lead standby, and thoracic robotic-assisted surgeries General emergent open-heart procedures also performed Floats to Main OR as needed Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience required CST certification required BLS certification required Must function as a First Assist (FA) Must be competent and independent in vein procurement using the Maquet Hemopro 2 system Vein harvesting capabilities required State license required if applicable Additional Information Assist in cardiovascular surgeries including open heart procedures Perform vein harvesting and procurement duties as part of surgical team role Hospital scrubs required per dress code Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility No local candidates will be considered
