1 Description American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with strong cardiac, neuro, thoracic, ortho, and vascular experience for a hospital Operating Room position. Details Hospital Operating Room unit setting 13-week travel assignment Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM Weekend rotation of 1 in 3 Rotating holiday coverage Epic EMR experience required Requirements Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the surgical technology specialty Strong cardiac, neuro, thoracic, ortho, and vascular surgical experience required NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required BLS certification from AHA or RQI required Epic EMR experience required for consideration No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months License required if applicable Additional Information Support surgical cases across multiple specialties including cardiac, neuro, thoracic, ortho, and vascular procedures Prepare and maintain sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical cases Assist with patient positioning, draping, and establishing sterile fields Facility only accepts medical exemptions for flu vaccination signed by a licensed professional; personal or religious declinations are not accepted Local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius are not eligible, including those from Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington counties
