Qualifications:
Current national certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or recognized equivalent Valid BLS certification Minimum of one year of recent Operating Room experience preferred Proven knowledge of aseptic technique, instrument handling, and proper equipment setup Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain operating rooms before, during, and after surgical procedures Assist surgeons and nurses directly by passing instruments, controlling sterilization, and managing supplies Adhere strictly to infection control guidelines and facility protocols Ensure safe environment and optimum patient care throughout all operative phases Document appropriately and remain adaptable to various operating room needs
