Provided 3. Key Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms, instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures. Maintain strict sterile and aseptic technique throughout procedures. Assist surgeons and nursing staff during general and specialty surgeries. Perform surgical counts, specimen handling, labeling, and universal time-out procedures. Handle surgical instruments, case carts, electrosurgical equipment, and fiber-optic equipment. Support laparoscopic and robotic surgical procedures, including Da Vinci Xi. Assist with orthopedic, vascular, bariatric, neurological, thoracic, gynecological, urological, ENT, plastics, and general surgery cases. Follow infection control, sharps safety, radiation safety, and surgical safety protocols. Assist with decontamination, sterilization processes, and monitoring of sterilization indicators. 4. Requirements 3+ years of Surgical Technologist/OR experience required. Strong experience in Bariatrics, Vascular, Thoracic, Orthopedics, and Neurosurgery required. Previous travel assignment experience required. General OR experience required. Experience with multiple surgical service lines preferred. Ability to work with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and OR procedures. 5. Education Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred. 6. Certifications CST required NBSTSA certification BLS preferred 7. Preferred Qualifications Epic experience preferred. Trauma Level II experience preferred. Teaching hospital experience preferred. Robotic surgery experience, including Da Vinci Xi , preferred. Experience with complex vascular, orthopedic, neuro, thoracic, and bariatric procedures.
