1 Description American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for an ambulatory surgery center OR position requiring BLS, CST, NBSTSA, and 2 years of experience. Details Ambulatory surgery center with 8 operating rooms Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM 40 hours per week with no on-call requirements Candidates will float as needed Specialties include plastics, podiatry, orthopedics, and ENT procedures Procedures include abdominoplasty, breast augmentation, free flap microvascular surgery, mastectomy with tram flap reconstruction, ankle fusion, bunionectomy, total knee replacement, arthroscopy, laminectomy/discectomy, direct laryngoscopy, and endoscopic sinus procedures Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience required BLS and CST certifications required NBSTSA certification required NY state license required, if applicable EPIC charting experience preferred Proficiency in aseptic technique, instrument processing, sterilization/disinfection, and specimen handling required Experience with sets/trays assembly and sterile processing required Additional Information First-time travelers will be considered for this position Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible Black scrubs provided Returning staff must wait 6 months system-wide before reapplying
