Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Surgical/Operating Room Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assist in preparing operating rooms, managing surgical instruments, and supporting surgical teams during a wide range of procedures. Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing and arranging surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies according to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Assist surgeons and nursing staff during procedures by passing instruments, suturing wounds, and managing surgical tools with precision. Monitor patient vital signs such as blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation, and respiratory status throughout surgeries to ensure stability. Collect and document data related to patient care, including physiological measurements, treatment responses, and procedural details using electronic health record systems. Maintain the cleanliness and sterilization of medical equipment and surgical instruments following hospital policies to prevent healthcare-associated infections. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in various specialties to facilitate optimal patient outcomes. Requirements Experience with ortho, general, ENT, vascular, GYN cases Scrub experience Surgical Tech certification required.
