Travelers Pay:
$2,300 weekly including stipend for 40 hours.
JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB DETAILS:
Full Time
  • 13 weeks contract Shift
  • 11 am to 7 pm, Weekend, call and holidays required Weekly Hours
  • 40 hours
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare the operating room by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies. Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and functioning. Establish and maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures. Scrub in and assist surgeons during a wide variety of surgical procedures. Anticipate the surgeon's needs by passing instruments, sutures, sponges, and supplies efficiently. Perform surgical counts of instruments, sponges, and needles before, during, and after procedures. Prepare and position patients for surgery while maintaining patient safety and comfort. Assist with draping patients and preparing the surgical site using aseptic technique. Operate and troubleshoot surgical equipment, including electrosurgical units, suction devices, and power instruments. Handle surgical specimens according to facility protocols. Assist with hemostasis, wound dressing application, and postoperative room turnover. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, registered nurses, and other perioperative staff to ensure efficient workflow. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with infection prevention, OSHA, and AORN standards. Monitor sterile technique and immediately address any contamination issues. Participate in emergency and trauma procedures while maintaining composure in high-pressure situations.
REQUIREMENT
2+ years of experience
  • Required.
Travel experience required Must have Ortho, scrubbing and Davinci experience
MUST BE CERTIFIED BLS
