• 10• and 12-hour shifts; approximately 40 hours/week

Every other weekend as needed Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist / OR Tech for a travel contract opportunity in Columbus, Ohio . The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hospital OR experience with strong scrub and circulating skills . Candidates must be highly proficient in Robotic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Thoracic Surgery, and ENT procedures . This position supports a busy Surgical Oncology Operating Room with multiple specialties and requires the ability to adapt to a rotating day/evening schedule. Required Qualifications 3+ years of Surgical Technologist / OR Tech experience

• Required Strong scrub and circulating experience

BLS/BCLS

certification

• Required EPIC experience
• Required Experience in a hospital operating room Ability to work rotating day/evening shifts Ability to participate in call and weekend coverage as required Candidates must have recent hands-on experience with: ENT / Head & Neck Surgery Neurosurgery Thoracic Surgery Robotic Surgery Key Responsibilities Scrub and circulate surgical procedures according to department requirements.

Prepare operating rooms, instruments, supplies, and equipment for scheduled procedures. Anticipate surgeon and surgical team needs throughout procedures. Support complex robotic, neuro, thoracic, and ENT cases . Maintain sterile technique and ensure adherence to infection-control standards. Assist with surgical counts and maintain accurate instrument accountability. Handle surgical instruments and specialty equipment appropriately. Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia, and other members of the OR team. Maintain a safe and organized operating-room environment. Document required information accurately in EPIC . Float between applicable surgical specialties as needed. Participate in call and every-other-weekend coverage according to department needs.
