1 Description American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for an ambulatory sports medicine surgery center, requiring CST and NCCT certification with Epic charting experience. Details Ambulatory surgery center focused primarily on orthopedic sports medicine cases 6-room, 6-bed surgical suite Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 6:30am-3pm, Monday through Friday Late coverage required 6-8 times per month No weekend, holiday, or night call requirements No floating to sister facilities required Epic EMR required for charting Requirements Minimum of 1-2 years of surgical technology experience required CST certification required NCCT certification required Experience with sports medicine and orthopedic surgical cases required Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program Pending state license accepted License required if applicable 2 professional references required, with at least one from a manager, director, or supervisor; charge RN acceptable for second reference; no coworker references accepted Additional Information Assist with sports medicine and orthopedic procedures including ACL reconstruction, arthroscopy, arthrotomy, carpal tunnel release, and closed/open fracture reductions May also support podiatry cases such as ankle fusion, bunionectomy, hallux valgus arthroplasty/arthrodesis, and metatarsal surgery Scrubs provided by the facility First-time travelers are accepted for this position RTO must be requested and built into the contract prior to submission, limited to 7 days or less Former employees eligible for a travel assignment after being away from the facility for 6 months or more Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at this facility system Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate Ohio fingerprinting process required promptly after contract signing; candidates should be prepared to complete this urgently due to compliance deadlines
