Walnut Creek Surgical Suites is hiring a Full-Time Scrub Tech! Welcome to Walnut Creek Surgical Suites ! Walnut Creek Surgical Suites, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Scrub Tech to join our esteemed team. As a Scrub Tech, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our patients, while upholding our core beliefs of value, integrity, continuity, accessibility, and community engagement. Scrub Tech at Walnut Creek Surgical Suites Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Scrub Tech is responsible for scrubbing surgical procedures and demonstrating competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. The role includes preparing and maintaining supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. The Scrub Tech supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center and participates in quality improvement activities.
Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent Completion of an accredited surgical technology program or prior scrub experience preferred Must possess strong knowledge of surgical procedures and the management of surgical patients Understanding of aseptic techniques and their proper implementation Ability to quickly adapt to changes in the patient's condition when needed Excellent team player with strong communication skills for interacting with staff, patients, and physicians
