1 Description American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with at least 18 months of recent OR experience for a hospital nursing unit position. Details Hospital-based Surgical Services/OR Tech unit position Day shift schedule working 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Requires floating to Marymount as needed On-call requirements include 3-4 weeknight calls (7 PM-7 AM) per 6-week schedule On-call requirements also include 3 weekend call shifts per 6-week schedule Requirements Minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent OR experience required BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist credential required in hand (NCCT not accepted) One recent professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months License required if applicable Additional Information ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments will be completed during orientation, with up to 2 attempts allowed to pass PBDS Assessment is waived for this position Nurses and CSTs are currently exempt from the facility's Nicotine Free Facility Requirement, though this exemption is temporary Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate Assignments at this facility may not exceed 18 consecutive months A minimum 6-month break is required before returning to another assignment at this facility Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
