Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and compassionate Oral Surgical Technician to join our fast-paced oral and maxillofacial surgery practice. Our office specializes in dental implants, wisdom tooth extractions, full-arch restorations, bone grafting, and intravenous sedation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives in a team environment, and is committed to providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and surgical suites before procedures. Assist the surgeon during surgical procedures. Obtain and review medical histories. Capture radiographs, cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) scans, photographs, and intraoral scans. Monitor and document patient information before, during, and after procedures. Provide preoperative and postoperative instructions to patients. Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of surgical instruments. Maintain inventory and stock supplies as needed. Accurately document patient information within the electronic health record system. Assist with patient flow and support fellow team members as needed. Qualifications Experience in oral surgery is preferred. Current radiology certification. Current CPR certification. Experience with intravenous sedation is preferred. Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
