The Surgical Technologist will facilitate physicians' performance of invasive, therapeutic, and diagnostic procedures by preparing and maintaining the sterile field, handling surgical instruments and equipment, and anticipating the needs of the surgical team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Orthopedic surgery, including total joint procedures, and advanced robotic surgery using the da Vinci DV5 system. Endovascular experience is a plus. Schedule Day Shift Three 12-hour shifts per week 9:00 AM - 9:30

Possible Key Responsibilities Prepare the operating room and ensure all required instruments, supplies, equipment, medications, and solutions are available. Set up and maintain the sterile field according to established surgical protocols. Assist with patient preparation and verify the scheduled procedure against consent documentation. Pass instruments and supplies to the surgeon during procedures. Anticipate the surgeon's needs and provide additional instruments or supplies as required. Perform surgical counts with the circulating nurse before the procedure and prior to incision closure. Assist with sterile draping and maintain strict aseptic technique throughout the procedure. Prepare and apply sterile dressings following surgical procedures. Secure dressings after incision closure. Clean, decontaminate, and prepare instruments for terminal sterilization. Assist the surgical team with room cleaning and turnover between procedures. Restock and prepare the operating room for subsequent patients. Maintain a high standard of patient safety and quality care throughout the operative procedure. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Associate Degree or Certificate of Program Completion in Surgical Technology. Minimum 2 years of relevant acute care surgical experience. Strong experience with Orthopedic surgery, particularly total joint procedures. Experience with advanced robotic surgery, preferably da Vinci DV5. Endovascular surgical experience is a plus.
