1 Description American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital OR position requiring 2 years of experience and proficiency across multiple surgical service lines. Details Hospital OR setting supporting general OR, ambulatory OR, and trauma cases Requires broad service line proficiency including vascular, orthopedic, general, gynecology, urology, ENT, plastics, podiatry, and bariatric surgery Robotic surgery experience preferred, including Da Vinci Xi Surgical System cases Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM Floating required across service lines Overnight on-call, weekend call, and holiday call requirements Epic charting system experience required Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist required NBSTSA or NCCT Certified Surgical Technologist credential required BLS certification required AST membership preferred Trauma Level II experience preferred License required if applicable Valid state license or certification required at time of consideration Valid references and copies of certifications required for consideration Proficiency in aseptic technique, sterilization/disinfection, and universal protocol/time out procedures required Experience with electrosurgical units, drills, fiber optic equipment, and case cart preparation Additional Information Support surgical procedures across a wide range of specialties including vascular, orthopedic, general surgery, gynecology, urology, ENT, plastics, podiatry, and bariatric surgery Maintain sterile fields and assist with instrument and equipment preparation for diverse case types Participate in specimen handling, labeling, and equipment documentation Adhere to isolation precautions, PPE protocols, radiation and laser safety standards Scrubs are provided First-time travelers accepted Local candidates accepted within a 50 mile radius at a different rate RTO must be submitted prior to consideration; no additional time off accepted after submission
