Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) travel contract in Southern Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for 13 weeks. Work 3x12-hour shifts in a fast-paced hospital setting, earning up to $2,000 per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare operating rooms and surgical equipment prior to procedures Set up sterile instruments, supplies, and surgical trays Maintain sterile technique throughout surgical procedures Assist surgeons and operating room staff during procedures Pass instruments, sutures, and other supplies as requested Perform surgical counts according to facility policies Assist with positioning and preparation of patients Maintain organization and readiness of the sterile field Assist with room turnover between surgical cases Follow infection prevention, safety, and hospital protocols Collaborate effectively with surgeons, RNs, anesthesia staff, and other members of the surgical team

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification through the NBSTSA or applicable nationally recognized certification Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association Previous surgical technologist experience in an acute-care hospital or operating room setting Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and infection control Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a travel hospital environment
