Southwestern Pennsylvania Eye Surgery Center is seeking a part-time Certified Surgical Technician. We are a growing, busy, state-of-the-art ophthalmology ambulatory surgery center, conveniently located in southwestern Pennsylvania right off the 79/70 interchange. We specialize in cataract removal, while offering the latest drop-less technology. We also specialize in retinal and glaucoma procedures. Our surgery center is patient focused and strive for the best visual outcomes for our patients. Part-time, every Tuesday & Thursday, as well as two Wednesdays a month. Hours would be from start to end of surgery approximately 8 to 10 hours/day. No weekends or holidays.

• Assisting in preparing the operating room prior to procedures.
• Sets the stage for the operation
• Advocates for the patient's safety and comfort
• Takes the lead on maintaining sterile field and ensuring everyone follows aseptic & sterile technique.
• Anticipates the surgeon's needs.
• Works collaboratively as a member of the surgical team
• Preforms any other job duties that may be assigned : BLS certification Successful completion of an accredited school for Surgical Technology Certification as a Surgical Technician Valid unrestricted drivers' license Experience preferred but not necessary
