Job Description
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. We are seeking a dedicated Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with strong Nursing-ORT experience to support surgical teams in delivering safe and efficient care for patients undergoing various operative procedures. Key Qualifications Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) Proven experience in Operating Room Technology (ORT) and surgical nursing assistance Proficiency in preparing operating rooms, sterilizing equipment, and managing surgical instruments Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and patient safety protocols Ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team and adapt in fast-paced environments Excellent written and verbal communication skills Current BLS certification required Flexibility to work variable shifts as operational needs require Responsibilities Assist surgical teams during procedures by ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are available and sterile Prepare and maintain the sterile field, organize tools and materials, and ensure the proper functioning of surgical instruments Support pre-operative and post-operative procedures, including patient preparation and documentation Adhere strictly to infection control standards and safety guidelines Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care Maintain detailed records of surgical procedures, instruments used, and patient outcomes Benefits Opportunities for ongoing professional development Collaborative and supportive work environment Exposure to a variety of surgical specialties and techniques Flexible scheduling options to fit your lifestyle Take the next step in your surgical technology career by applying today.
