Qualifications & Experience:
Certified Surgical Technologist (Surgical Tech - Certified) Proficient in positioning, preparing, and handling sterile instruments and supplies Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing principles (Nursing - ORT) Experience assisting in various surgical procedures Current BLS certification Previous hospital or acute care surgical experience preferred Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Essential Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment Assist surgeons and nurses during operative procedures Manage surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to facilitate efficient and safe procedures Ensure compliance with infection control standards and hospital policies Provide high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative process Participate actively in departmental meetings and ongoing education
