1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Pediatric CVOR Surgical Tech (CST) for a 13-week travel assignment at a children's hospital, requiring NBSTSA certification and prior cardiovascular pediatric OR experience. Details Pediatric cardiovascular OR (CVOR) setting within a children's hospital Day shift schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM (4x10-hour shifts); Thursdays off (schedule may be adjusted during interview process) On-call expected approximately 3-4 times per month Cerner EMR experience preferred Floating between like units and campuses within 20 miles may occasionally be required Requirements Active TN or Compact RN license (no pending licensure) NBSTSA certification required Minimum 2 years of experience with at least one prior completed travel assignment, or 3+ years of experience Pediatric cardiovascular OR (CVOR) experience is strictly required BSN required for this position Driver's License required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are not eligible; at least one completed travel assignment is required Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's fall within the assignment period, candidates must be willing to work at least 2 of those 3 holidays; if only 2 fall within the assignment, at least 1 must be covered Former permanent employees or internal associate travelers must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible to return as a traveler All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; RTO requests submitted after an offer is made will not be considered Vaccination status must be provided for consideration
