As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a crucial role in the inter-operative phase of patient care, working under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing and maintaining the instrument table in an organized manner Ensuring the proper functioning of surgical instruments and equipment Performing surgical counts of sponges, sharps, and instruments Assisting the surgical team with draping and positioning the patient Receiving and processing surgical specimens Cleaning and decontaminating surgical instruments and the operating room Following infection control policies and regulatory requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: BLS certification (AHA Only) CST certification (NBSTSA or NCCT) or grandfathered candidates accepted Need 2 years experience in setting Knowledge of infection prevention and regulatory sterilization standards Good verbal and written communication skills Apply today and let Capstone Health help you reach your full potential!
