Late September, throughout the end of 2026• North Central Surgical Center is a highly successful, Baylor Scott & White affiliated hospital located in Dallas, TX. We partner with the very best team members and medical staff in the area. We are a surgical focused hospital that performs over 12,000 procedures per year.
FACTS ABOUT NORTH CENTRAL
Opened in 2005, 14 Operating Rooms and 30 Medical/Surgical Patient Rooms. We are conveniently Located at Walnut Hill & 75 in the prestigious NorthPark area Specialties include: Orthopedics, Spine, General Surgery, Pain Management, Urology, GI/Endoscopy, Plastic, and Podiatry surgeries. Managed by United Surgical Partners International & Joint Commission Accredited We are currently looking for a Seasonal Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our team. The Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) will support our team by being responsible for the following: Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, sets up and maintains a sterile field for minor and major surgical procedures applying special knowledge of asepsis. Applies knowledge of specialized instruments, equipment, and supplies utilized in the Operating Room. Organizes instruments, equipment, and supplies for easy access and maximum efficiency. Participates in a rotational call system as needed to provide for continuous availability of patient services. Follows appropriate guidelines for setting up sterile field and instruments for designated procedures. Maintains current knowledge of procedures performed in the Operating Room. Re-stocks Operating Room supplies as caseload permits. Assists circulating nurse in maintenance of physician preference cards.
Required Skills:
High school graduate or equivalent. Minimum of one year of previous Operating Room CST experience is required. CST certification, required. Current BLS required. One year of Total Joint, Complex Spine, and Arthroscopy experience, preferred.
