• Job Summary and Qualifications
• A surgical scrub technician is completely proficient in scrubbing all operating room procedures, and further possesses the capability to prioritize and organize their workload as delegated by their Supervisor.

Scrub Tech also must demonstrate proficiency in the provision of quality patient care and efficient assistance to surgeons. The North Hills Hospital staff member can expect to care for adult patients, including the older adult through geriatric, and pediatric patients from newborn through adolescence. The attached criteria based performance evaluation provides a specific set of standards as they relate to age specific competency.

• What qualifications you will need:
• + High School Graduate / GED + Graduate of a school of surgical technology required + No experience Required; 1 yr experience preferred + Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
