1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Technologist with CST certification and 2+ years of multi-specialty OR experience for a hospital position. Details Hospital operating room setting with 11 surgical suites Handles 25-35 cases per day across multiple specialties including Ortho, Neuro, Maxillofacial, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Colo-Rectal, General, GYN, Robotics, Urology, Podiatry, Thoracic, and Breast Common Ortho cases include total joints, sports medicine, and fractures Common Neuro cases include spine and cranial procedures such as tumor resections and brain biopsies, utilizing Stealth navigation 12-hour shifts from 11:00am-11:30pm with no block scheduling; shifts are assigned 36 hours per week On-call responsibilities average 5-6 shifts within a 6-week period, including day, overnight, and weekend coverage Epic EMR used Requirements CST certification required BLS certification from AHA required Active VA license required at submittal (license required if applicable) Minimum 2 years of experience required Must have experience in Thoracic, Trauma, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Robotics cases Familiarity with Stealth navigation systems required Additional Information Scrubs provided by the hospital Floor-specific orientation is 1 week for day shift and 2 weeks for night shift Holiday coverage includes 1 major and 1 minor holiday
