1 Description American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with strong general, orthopedic, vascular, and gyn experience for a hospital OR position. Details Hospital operating room setting 3x12 day shift schedule, 7am-7pm, with call, occasional weekends, and holidays Call rotation with staff, approximately 4-5 weekday calls per 6 weeks plus one weekend call (24-hour or backup) May be required to float within skillset Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist required BLS certification required NBSTSA, NCCT, or military OR Tech certification required VA or other state license required, if applicable Strong general, orthopedic (total joints), vascular, and gyn surgical experience required Additional Information Must work at least one holiday per 13-week contract, with two holidays required during winter holiday periods (Thanksgiving, Christmas/Christmas Eve, NYE/New Year's) First-time travelers will be considered for this position Local candidates within 100 miles of the facility are not accepted Previous employees must be separated from the facility for at least one year before returning as a traveler All RTO requests must be submitted upfront with the application
