Hours:
40 Hours/Week (Day shifts: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM or 7:00 AM-7:30 PM Schedule varies; no fixed schedule
Setting:

Pay rate depends on local or travel status. The pay rate is $40/hr for local nurses .

JOB OVERVIEW
Seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to support a high-volume, Operating Room with adult and pediatric surgical cases across multiple specialties, including trauma, orthopedics, general surgery, robotics, transplant, ENT, vascular, thoracic, urology, and pediatrics.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and supplies for surgical procedures. Assist surgeons and nursing staff during procedures. Maintain sterile technique and follow infection control standards. Support complex adult and pediatric surgical cases. Assist with trauma and emergency procedures. Support orthopedic, general, robotic, transplant, ENT, vascular, thoracic, urology, and pediatric cases. Perform surgical counts and maintain accurate documentation. Ensure proper handling and availability of surgical instruments and equipment. Float to designated OR locations as needed. Participate in weekend, holiday, night rotation, and on-call coverage.
REQUIREMENTS 2
years of Surgical Technologist experience Level I or II Trauma experience required BLS (AHA) required Active CST Virginia State license Ability to work a flexible schedule and participate in call rotation
